Call the pool something like “vpn-pool” and give it an address range such as “192.168.1.240-192.168.1.254”. There’s little point in making this block large as this router can only handle a couple of concurrent VPN sessions at most. To open the IP Pool window: IP > Pool I’ve picked a small section of my usual DHCP assigned block. ![]() ![]() ![]() You need to set aside a range of addresses that will be assigned to VPN clients. I’m setting this up using WinBox, it can also be done using the web interface and the command line. This set up should work on any level 3 or higher licensed version of RouterOS which I think is now all of them. ![]() I’m running a MikroTik RouterBOARD 962UiGS-5HacT2HnT with a level 4 license.
